These fees are paid on the 1st of each month by standing order and an annual swimmer levy contribution (per swimmer) of £12.50 is payable on the 1st of February.
It has been agreed at the AGM 3/11/09, that the fees are to remain the same, with effect from the 1st January 2010. Details as above.
Some unavoidable cancellations during the year have been taken into account within the structure of the fees.
Changing Rooms
Swimmers should have due consideration towards others and in particular, any members of the public who may be using the facilities, and should treat all other people's property with respect.
It must be stressed that the ultimate responsibility for conduct outside the pool area rests with the parents, guardians or swimmer and the club cannot be held responsible for conduct, injury, loss or damage occurring in the changing rooms.
Warm Up
Parents should make every effort to ensure that their children arrive at the pool in adequate time to participate at the very start of a training session.

Swimmers should not loiter in the changing rooms, but should present themselves on the poolside in an orderly manner prior to the start of their training session.

A full and proper warm up prior to training is an important health and safety measure and reduces the risk of injury and strains to the body. Swimmers who do not participate in a warm up, do so at their own risk and their failure may result in an unnecessary injury.
Members are required to sign a form to agree to these terms.

As you are probably aware, coaches are continually assessing the progress of swimmers in their squads to ensure that they are receiving appropriate training.
When swimmers are promoted to the next squad, this is on a trial basis and is not irreversible. In certain cases, where swimmers are unable to cope with the increase in training, it may be beneficial to spend a further period in the previous squad. Also if swimmers have been out of training for a long period (irrespective of the reason) a temporary move to a lower squad may be needed in order to regain fitness.
In addition to this, some swimmers not making sufficient progress may be advised that a social club is more suitable than competitive training. Details of local clubs will be made available to such swimmers.
Dronfield Dolphins is a successful competitive swimming club with high demand for places. To ensure its continued success, it is important that squads are reviewed on a regular basis.
We hope that you will be supportive of any decisions made by the coaches concerning your child.
