Dronfield Dolphins

We are a community based club established by a group of parents in 1974, shortly after Dronfield Sports Centre opened, and have been run by parent volunteers since that day.

    Club for all          

We provide a club for all from teaching sessions through development squads, right through to competitive squads. We compete in team galas and provide swimmers with opportunities to enter individual galas. We run a licensed club championship which all our squad swimmers can enter. For many it will be their first real experience of competition. 

    Development first         

Our coaches, who are all qualified, work with the swimmers to develop their skills, technique and potential. We also provide an athlete pathway for swimmers who have exceptional ability and help the swimmers go as far as they want to go with their swimming.

    Swim for life     

For parents it is a great feeling to see your children getting fit, enjoying themselves and developing a competitive edge. There is a lot to be said for just how much of that carries into other aspects of life and it sets children up for the rest of their lives. Parents can also enjoy the experience too. Getting involved keeps the club alive and being a volunteer can be very rewarding and satisfying.
