A fantastic way to spend a Saturday evening!
Results
The first round of the 2016 saw Dolphins take a tight second place in the first round of the Diddy league with 3 teams separated by just 6 points. Zero disqualifications for Dolphins ensured they got that second place.
There were a couple of performances worthy of special comment. Alice Earl who swam 9 events and maintained her performances around PB level all evening and Florence Simpson with an outstanding 50 Breaststroke which was a massive PB. However team events are only partly about individual swims, the relay teams contributed very well to the teams total and when the result is so close every point is vital. A glance at the vast array of personal bests shows the effort put in by the swimmers. Well done to every single member of the team on a brilliant performance.
Fortunately we don't often host the league events but when we do it is great to see all the parents playing their part. Anyone inspired to pick up a stopwatch please get in touch.
Watch your emails, the second round draw and team selection will be out soon.
The date? 21 May, 2nd round, 18 June, final round.
